Hi! I'm Carly Chapple, birth + postpartum doula based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
I love empowering birthing people to discover their power and voice, guiding them in how to lean into the transformative experience and embrace all of it -- the beauty, the hardness, the intensity, the release of control, the peace, the quiet in-between. It's pure magic. Every person deserves to have a birth they love, and I adore being a guide and witness as you find that for yourself. I became interested in all things pregnancy and birth after the birth of my oldest son. Afterwards, I realized that I had options during labor I wasn't aware of. I became passionate about pregnancy, labor, birth + postpartum and determined I wanted to be a source of help in providing birthing families with the chance to have an empowering and positive birth experience. I’ve personally had the spectrum of births (hospital, birth center, home), and have helped women birth in all of those same settings. I am a certified doula through DONA International, and have been practicing as a doula since 2017. To date, I’ve attended around 125+ births. I live in Salt Lake with my husband and kids — 9, 6, and 3. When not immersed in the birth world, you can find me in the recharging in the mountains climbing, hiking, kayaking, biking + skiing. |
